I finally computed the linear and non-linear solutions for the Cavendish experiment. The equation of motion is:
This is linearized as1
The solution for initial condition t=0 and theta=0 is
C = GMmd
This is what I used to plot the linear line. Thanks again to Jean-Marc Gulliet for obtaining the solution in Maple and Mathematica.
Non-linear solution was supplied by Robert Israel […]

I believe that my evaluation of this organization in the original post is not justified. I am sorry that I posted without researching the activities of Templeton Foundation more carefully. I leave the post as is because it shows how strong physicists’ propaganda […]
Herodotus1 of Halicarnassus2 is called the Father of History. He is the one who used the word historia first. By historia he meant research and inquiry. Herodotus lived in a society structured like ours. In the perpetual strife between science and mythology mythology was winning. Like today the ruling class marketed mythology as science to […]
String Theory
3 Comments Published by admin October 8th, 2007 in Science, Physics, Doctors of Philosophy, String TheoryIs String Theory physics? For physicists physics is a synonym for science therefore the question Is String Theory physics is same as the question Is String Theory science?
But if String Theory is not science as the majority of physicists believe can physics still be considered science? Not really. String Theory is physics. And String Theory […]
Physicist say
it’s semantics, not physics. Move on, there is no science in semantics.”
Is there a word without meaning?1
Are there words with multiple meanings?2
Physicists love those. Any word that means the same thing both in physics and outside of physics is called philosophy and it must be made precise by corrupting it into a term of […]
I wanted to reply as a new post to another one1 of Flip’s statements in this comment:
History isn’t science.
I understand the distinction you make between history and research. For instance, here I am studying the equation of motion of the Cavendish experiment. You agree that this is good science. Here I’m looking at the history […]
Teaching
0 Comments Published by admin October 5th, 2007 in Faith, Physics, Education, Doctors of Philosophy, Newton, General RelativityThis is how physics needs to be taught:1
I guess what I tried to do was give him a concept in need of a name, rather than a name in need of a concept.
In physics what is taught are names of ossified doctrines. Students are asked to believe these labels as absolute truths.
This is how physics […]
Flip left a nice comment here. My response is pending but one topic of disagreement needs highlighting hoping that readers who know more about this subject than me would care to comment.
The topic is derivation in physics.1 Flip says that “derivation in physics is the same derivation as in mathematics.” I would think that Flip’s […]
Standard model

Standard model is the most solid, pinnacle achievement of particle physics.
Standard model describes not one, not two but zillion of possible universes.
You can change the strengths of the forces, the strengths of the coupling constants as you wish.
The masses of the particles can be changed arbitrarily and the theory still makes sense, it […]
I do not agree with this statement:
The universe described by cosmology today is humanity’s first picture of the universe as a whole that might actually be true.
All cosmic mythologies appear true to believers. The statement that cosmic model described by cosmology is true can be written mathematically as follows:
O - C = zero
O = model
C […]
