Against atomic materialism
Published by admin May 8th, 2007 in Physics, Newton, Cavendish Experiment, MaterialismI have been working on the wiki for history of research which is about 11,000 words long. I think the following would be a good outline:
Initial period
What is force?
Astronomical experiments to test if force exists
Astronomical experiments fail
Middle period
Duplication of Cavendish experiment
Riddle of force solved
Late period
Discovery of Newton’s crime
Density as fundamental continuum
Unity of academic departments
Future
The new scientific revolution
The world without Newtonism
I started by asking why I saw only one side of the Moon and I ended up with the world without Newtonism. This makes sense since the world is not Newtonian and Newton’s atomic materialism is a religious doctrine not an observed fact.
