Anti de Sitter
Published by admin October 30th, 2007 in Physics, Doctors of Philosophy, String TheoryAfter a slow start US/LHC bloggers are finally starting to write about physics rather than their weekend trips to Lake Leman. Here’s a post full of physics where Peter Steinberg asks if Branes Has A Flavor? The post is about a workshop called AdS Strings Intersect with Nuclear Beams at Columbia.
Strings live in Anti de Sitter universes. Nuclear beams do not live in Anti de Sitter universes. How can they intersect?
The home page of the workshop gives a clue. The designer of the home page used the oldest pun in the string business: Yarns. The workshop is about strings so the designer used a picture of yarn. To physic is to treat homonyms as synonyms, therefore, to pun is to physic.
What physicists call strings have no connection with yarn. Strings are axiomatic objects without density. Yarn is useful and has density. You can make a sweater with yarn and wear it. The only use of strings is to push physics careers upward.
The relation between string and yarn is nothing more than a cute pun. Anti de Sitter and nuclear beam is as much a pun as strings and yarn. Strings, beams and yarn all intersect only in Anti de Sitter universes.
Where does Anti de Sitter intersect with the space where beams live? Nowhere, except on physics blackboards. To cook in Anti de Sitter and serve in this world is scientific fraud.
Physicists are operatives acting as science launderers for Government’s military research. Funders of LHC cares none what physicists find or do not find. The job of physicists is to report to governments that a bigger and more expensive of these giant incubators for military research is needed to discover the fundamental secrets of Anti de Sitter universe.
It is incredible that the world governments are so interested in finding out the ultimate secrets of this Anti de Sitter universe which is basically a universe with nothing in it.
This racket has been going on for so long that people think this is what science is.
