Let

Scientific Output = S = Wn

Assume that n =1 gives today’s output:

Today’s Output = S = W

If n = 2

then

S = 2W

If n=2 we would have doubled the scientific output of humanity.

Can this result be achieved within the present system? Can humans’ scientific output be doubled by keeping the present system? My answer is No.

The present system is a mixture of academic teaching and science.

Let

Academic Teaching = T

Then,
 
T + S = Wn

S = Wn – T

Therefore, Teaching is an impediment to scientific output. If we eliminate teaching from Science, Scientific productivity will increase:

T = 0

S = Wn

and

Wn is greater than (Wn – T) if T is not zero.

This is proved by observations.

Teaching and Science are different and conflicting endeavors. The combination of Teaching and Science is not a necessary combination. When separated both Teaching and Science become more productive.

Science as we understand it today started in the new continent. A break from European Scholasticism (Teaching) freed a tremendous amount of scientific energy and productivity increased.

It took a break from European Scholasticism (Teaching) to establish Science.

A new and free political system could not be established in sclerotic European society. For the same reason Science could not be established in Europe.

It is important to see through the self-serving European marketing and branding in order to realize how European scholasticism set humanity back for thousands of years. For marketing reasons Europeans have been branding their type of society as a scientific society. Ignore the marketing. Recognize that Science as we know it today did not exist in Europe. We are still trying to recover from the scars European Scholastics inflicted on human reason. Humans have collective memory. It takes centuries for the scars to heal. Scholastic Doctors burned any human who showed signs of independent thinking. This criminal act is still in human memory.

European Doctors did not want to make progress and when they saw progress they killed it. Remember how Newton set back the development of electrical science by prosecuting Stephen Gray.

When European Scholastic Doctors had contact with other nations they killed the progress there too.

What is the state of human progress today? If an independent auditor from Mars wanted to buy stocks of Human Inc., how would it evaluate the human corporation?

I think that our stock is over valued. Our system is inefficient. Uncoordinated. Available natural resources are wasted. Human resources are wasted beyond imagination. Our home, the planet itself, is not maintained properly. The management is corrupted. The Board is controlled by unhuman entities and not by humans.

There is room for improvement, don’t you think? What are your thoughts? Should we invest more on educating more Scholastic Doctors so that instead of doing useful work and contributing to human well-being they can write philosophical papers on 11 dimensional universes and speculate about cosmogonic scenarios and fatten themselves and poison the public with their science fiction that the Big Media sells as science? Or should we encourage more and more people to be free and do research on their own?
