Freedom of Science

Today I walked to Grand Central at lunch break and I saw this book in the bookstore there: The Closing of the Western Mind by Charles Freeman. The idea is that the Church hierarchy in collusion with the state killed rationalism in Europe. I believe this idea to be true. I realized it myself in Milet two years ago.

This is how I wrote it in my book:

Europeans concede that they have been ruled by anti-science Doctors and have been living in scientific darkness for two thousand years. Europeans invented this imagery of science as enlightenment and faith as darkness. It is a European tradition to turn whatever they don’t have into mythology. People who live in darkness mythologize light. Europeans mythologized science and made it faith. They made science religion.

Newtonism is the product of this scientifically corrupt European society. Newtonian scholasticism called physics is the product of this European society ruled by scholastic doctors.

Reading the reviews by readers of The Closing of the Western Mind I noticed that almost everyone of them mentions the loss of rationality in Europe because of the absolute rule of the Org over European humans. Well, we can put a definite date on the loss of rationality in Europe.¹ Europeans lost their last connection to rational thinking when Newton legalized the absurd by making mixed proportionalities legal in reasoning. This kind of Newtonian reasoning where absurd is legal is called physics.
