Second tier Scholastic Shaman Doctor Sean has done it again! In this post at Cosmic Variance Doctor Sean uses his powerful cabalistic extropolation powers to extrapolate reckelessly to 14 billion years.

If this does not appear to you as sharlatanism of the lowest grade consider this:

Let’s assume that the Earth’s atmosphere is simpler than the Universe.

No Scholastic Doctor of Philosophy has the scientific capacity to agree that weather system on Earth is simplier than the Universe.

But normal rational people would have no problem agreeing that universe is more complicated than weather.

Then, consider that the same physics used by Doctor Sean to extropolate 14 billion years is incapable to predicting weather next week.

In other words, the present state of physics is incapable of modeling a simple system such as the Earth’s atmosphere.

But Doctor Sean uses this same physics which couldn’t make a prediction if it will rain next week to model the finest details of the universe 14 billion years ago.

How can this be? Can it be that predicting rain next week can be verified but predicting cosmic winds 14 billion years ago cannot?
