We have principles here:

1. Nature is not supernatural.

2. Rational is not irrational.

I use these two scientific principles as the foundation of my research.

For instance, I use Principle 1 to eliminate the Newtonian occult force from physics:

Force is action-at-a-distance therefore force is occult. Occult is supernatural and, by Principle 1, nature is not supernatural, therefore, force does not exist.

Force is not a natural quantity. Force is a physic. No amount of argument by authority offered by physicists to save Newton’s authority will transform the occult into a natural quantity. The more they try to ascribe occult qualities to nature the more physicists look like medieval Doctors of Philosophy trying to save Aristotle’s authority. Newton is physicists’ Aristotle.

As long as physics admits occult qualities such as the Newtonian occult force physics will remain a para-science just like astrology.

Astrology is based on the assumption of an occult force acting between humans and celestial bodies. Newton generalized the astrological occult force between humans and stars to a force between the Earth and the stars and from there to the entire universe. Post-Newtonian generations will classify us as pre-scientific people who believed in the Newtonian occult. Remember that astrology was invented and practiced by the same Doctors of Philosophy.

The second principle is applied to physicists’ polemical tool called the equation. The equation is a broken rule (proportionality) where the rule is replaced with doctoral authority. Therefore, every physics equation can only be interpreted by an application of doctoral authority.

The way we look for the occult in physics and deny it by Principle 1 we also look for occult terms in physics equations and eliminate them. An occult term is a term which does not exist in formulas but is assumed to govern the phenomena described by the formulas. Such occult dormitive virtues have a long history in physics. Doctors of Philosophy love the hidden and the occult, that’s where their authority comes from. The elimination of the occult and hidden terms from doctoral polemics always leads to new discoveries.
