Throughout most human history, hierarchies of one form or another have served as the primary engines of wealth creation and provided a model for institutions such as the church, the military, and government.

So pervasive and enduring has the hierarchical mode of organization been that most people assume that there are no viable alternatives. Whether ancient slave empires of Greece, Rome, China, and the Americas, the feudal kingdoms that later covered the planet, or the capalist corporation, [or any corporation such as the scholastic corporation] hierarchies have organized people into layers of superiors and subordinates to fulfill both public and private objectives.

This hierarchical organism has been the  major enemy of human cooperation and unity. The hierarchy manifests itself under many different names, such as the church, military, government and academia or school. The hierarchy is unhuman and it uses humans as its indentured servants. The only objective of the hierarchy is its own survival through growth. And it grows by feeding on humans.

Physicists belong to the oldest existing form of this hierarchy: the scholastic corporation. The members of this hieararchy are scribes. They make their living by learning a proprietary language and using this language in the service of the hierarchy by keeping non-scribes ignorant of the language. Today this language is called physics.

The scribal language always changes and as non-scribes become familiar with the scribal language as the result of a technological revolution the scribes create a new and more complex version of the language. About fifty years ago physicists boasted that General Relativity was such a difficult language that only three humans could understand it. Today General Relativity is textbook stuff and it is replaced by the String Theory and now physicists boast how string theory is impossible to understand by non-scribes.

Therefore, physicists, the modern scribes, have always been, and still are, against the free flow of knowledge in the benefit of humanity.

It may be true that the string theory and academic physics even if it flows freely is still scientific spam that will not benefit humanity.
