So we are seeing a true shift of power from the Big Media to the people.
The war which is being waged now by the people is against the professional middlemen in general.
Professional middlemen fatten themselves by blocking the free flow of information.
Professional middlemen include, but not limited to, lawyers, bankers, real estate agents, editors, retailers, medical doctors and scholastic doctors of physics. The damage these professionals cause is proportional to how much you depend on their services.
People become aware of the monopoly of the lawyers only when they need them. Once they are finished with them they lose interest in changing the monopoly of the legal system on the people. But we interact with news continuously therefore we are ready and willing to do something about removing the monopoly on the news.
We have known for a long time that Big Media controlled the flow of information of the news. Up to now we had no means of freeing ourselves from the monopoly of the Big Media. Internet gave us the equalizer: blogging.
Citizens of all sorts wielded their new found freedom and good things came out of this assertion of freedom. Citizen journalism, free software, sharing in grand scale and social networking were things unknown to humanity just a few years ago. The simple realization that professional middlemen are evil led to so many goodies for humanity. Grassroots became mainstream.
When people asserted their right to free flow of information they raised the wellbeing of humanity. The collective character of human beings has changed for the better. A human community free of a chronic civil war became a possibility for the first time in history.
Scholasticism is a huge corporation which includes publishing and the media. This corporation feeds on humans.
Once we realize that the same media and its collaborators have also been blocking the free flow of scientific knowledge the same good things will happen in science as well.
As part of the collapsing publishing industry scholasticism is also falling apart. Follow the money. Scholastic doctors of physics are grossly underpaid professionals who substitute their meager salaries by trading their inherited authority in return for media fame. These poor scholastic doctors have been free content providers for the Big Media for so long that they are not even aware of it. How can these most brilliantly intelligent people who are capable of computing to 7 digits of accuracy the density of the universe before the universe was created with the Big Bang 7 trillion days ago not recognize that the Big Media have been prospering by exploiting their intellectual property?
Scholastic doctors are discontent. Scholasticism is going through a vicious civil war called the string wars. Book publishers who pay and exploit these doctors are going down. Scholasticism will be next. As soon as more people will realize how evil scholasticism has been it too will collapse.

Why is there no movement against scholasticism? Scholasticism is just the science monopoly of the Big Media. If big monopolies are so bad shouldn’t we fight scholasticism too?
Everyone is joining the movement to end the monopoly of the Big Media on the news. No one is doing anything to end the monopoly of Big Media on scientific knowledge?

I would speculate that the reason is related to the fact that there is no incentive to fight scholastic doctors. We know that medical doctors see us as dollar signs. As long as we don’t have to deal with them we choose to ignore the ugly monopoly medical doctors enjoy by collaborating with the Big Pharma.
Scholastic doctors of physics see us as incurable ignorants. They are supposedly professionals but they deliver no useful service to any constituency. Their product consists of absurd cosmogonix they feed to the Big Media which sells it to us as science. So no one cares.
We must care. Scholastic doctors collaborate with Big Media and corrupt the most human of all human activities: science.
It is important to liberate human science from the hands of the unhuman Big Media.
