<description>[...] What was impetus physics in pre-Newtonian scholasticism have become gravitational physics in Newtonian scholasticism. There are tens of thousands of leather bound De Motu written by European Doctors of Philosophy collecting dust in the famous libraries of Europe. These monuments to scholasticism are pulled out of their places of rest only to clean the dust they&#8217;ve collected.   Will anyone remember millions of gravitational De Motus deposited to arxiv.org by the same professional Doctors? Will anyone care about Hidden Symmetry hidden in Higher Dimensional Kerr-NUT-AdS Spacetimes fifty years from now? Probably not.   To speculate on old labels labeled with new labels is the profession of Doctors of Philosophy. When you look at a paper written by a famous Doctor of Philosophy such as Edward Witten you see that it is label mechanics with no relation to any kind of problem requiring a solution. For over a century now academic physicists have been investigating the ever finer hair-splitting gravitational details of toy models they have invented. The only problem these toy models are trying to solve appears to be the scholastic problem of reconciling two irreconcilable parts of the physics code.   Academic physics, i.e. gravitational physics, does not a have a physical problem to solve, it has a physics problem to solve.
